This office facility supports 4 operations groups which together constitute the Midwest Operations Headquarters for the Federal Aviation Administration. This is the first move for the operations group in 40 years and the new facility is conceived to provide flexible, technology enabled facilities to allow the groups to evolve over time. Built over a full raised floor, the offices and work stations are fully demountable to facilitate reorganization and evolving organizational dynamics as the FAA seeks to build on its relationships with the air-carriers, facilities and infrastructure that are the foundation of American air travel.
